UCLA SLA Student Chapter Wins Award

SLA SAAAC Merit Award for Creative Use of Electronic Resources

The SLA Student Chapter at UCLA has been awarded the 2011 “SLA SAAAC Merit Award for Creative Use of Electronic Resources” by the Special Libraries Association’s Student and Academic Affairs Advisory Council.

The award is in recognition for the purchase and hosting of the SLA Salary Survey for use by the UCLA Information Studies community.  The purchase was made using funds generously donated by the SLA Southern California Chapter.
