SLA presents Food Tour of Downtown L.A.

Whether you’re rejoining us after the summer break, or are new to the department (or even Los Angeles), the UCLA student chapter of the Special Libraries Association has partnered with Six Taste Food Tours to bring you an exciting event to kickoff the school year!

Please join us on a private walking food tour of Downtown Los Angeles, featuring 6 delicious food stops: Masis Mediterranean, Mac & Cheeza, Syrup Desserts, Two Bits, Big Man Bakes and Sarita’s Pupuseria. Sample some of LA’s greatest food, learn about the history of downtown LA and make some new friends within the IS department!

Please RSVP as soon as possible, as we can only accommodate 20 guests and spots are filling up fast. Regular Six Taste DTLA food tours are $60/guest, but we’ve managed to get a great deal — now only $40/guest for this special event. Additionally, UCLA SLA is offering a $10 discount for the first 8 IS students to RSVP, so act fast! RSVPs will be accepted until EOD Friday, Sept. 30.

Please e-mail RSVPs and any questions or dietary concerns to Jennifer Shuang at shuang.jennifer@gmail.com. After reserving a spot with me, I’ll send you an e-mail letting you know if you were one of the first 8 and how to make your payment to UCLA SLA Student Chapter.
