Back by popular demand: it’s the KCRW Music Library Tour!

Join the SLA student group for an exciting tour of the KCRW music library, Wednesday November 7, 10:30am!  KCRW is a public radio station and “a recognized tastemaker for new music from around the world.”  The KCRW music library houses an extensive collection of music culture in the form of vinyl records, cds, and digital tracks.   Recent projects include the digitization of the library’s vinyl records (50k+), the creation of a database system for instant digital track playback, and evolving plans for offsite (archival) storage.
