We hope everyone has had a great quarter! This fall, SLA took a tour of the Margaret Herrick Library in Beverly Hills. The MHL, which is part of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is the go-to library for all things related to film and film history. We got a chance to see Alfred Hitchcock’s movie notes, the Lion’s wig from The Wizard of Oz, set designs for Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and many other amazing items!
Thanks to Meg Ocampo and Jenny Romero for leading the tour. And thanks to Cindy Mediavilla for the photo.
Stay tuned with more tours in the coming months!
